Bus: Regular service to York, Thirsk and Pickering.   Rail: There are a wide variety of rail links to the town. The North Yorkshire Moors and Esk Valley railways offer links to picturesque locations, terminating in Pickering or Middlesborough. There is also a Northern Rail service to Middlesbrough.
