Hampsthwaite is a North Yorkshire village 5 miles north west of Harrogate and lying to the south of the river Nidd.
The village provides a range of facilities including a coffee shop, pub, shop, primary school, a play park, two churches and a village hall. Harrogate, with all its shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment facilities, is only a 10 minute drive away. For the commuter, the business centres of Leeds, Bradford and York are all within daily travelling distance. Mainline rail stations in Leeds and York (connections are available from Harrogate) provide services to London’s Kings Cross and Leeds/Bradford Airport is within a 30 minute drive.
The village attracts many walkers and cyclists are there are a multitude of walking and cycling routes around the area.
Buses – There is a regular bus service to Harrogate and Pateley Bridge.
Trains – The rail network is easily accessed from Harrogate station.
