Whitby

At their meeting last week Scarborough Borough Council Planning Committee sadly resolved to refuse our application for 62 new homes at Green Lane Whitby despite it being recommended for approval by their planning officers and NYCC highways department.

This land is allocated for development in the Scarborough Borough plan and we will be submitting an appeal against this decision within the next few weeks. This means the project will be delayed until well into 2022.

We have had a high level of interest in this project and are very disappointed that we are not able to proceed and meet the needs of the area. The project would have brought 19 much needed affordable homes to the town as well as 43 homes for sale.
